Aspirin
Mask Review
The aspirin mask is an easy to make homemade mask, that can be made many ways. I like to make mine by mixing 4-6 aspirins with enough water to make a paste. Most recipes call for uncoated aspirin, but I have been unable to find it, so I use Equate microcoated aspirin.
Bath Basics Bath and Shower Gel
MMM! I tried this in Unwind. This minty fresh shower gel smells like spearmint and sage! It's so nice and invigorating to get up in the morning and smell this. The scent is strong, but it doesn't last, so it doesn't interfere with any lotions or perfumes I wear.
Brown Sugar and Coconut Oil Body Scrub
I recently read about a new product-a coconut and brown sugar body scrub, whipped together, and since I happen to have both coconut oil and brown sugar at the house, I figured that I would try to make my own coconut oil and brown sugar body scrub.
Cat Cosmetics Kabuki Brush
I love the Cat Cosmetics Kabuki Brush. The one thing I miss about not using BE anymore, is not being able to use this brush. It is so soft and luxurious-a mini treat in the morning!
Cat Cosmetics Eyeshadow
I have 2 Cat Cosmetics Eye Shadows, one is Peepers (an iridescent powder blue with a touch of silver per the Cat Cosmetics Site) and the other is Tabby (an iridescent antique bronze).
Covergirl Outlast Liquid Foundation
I am really impressed with the Covergirl Outlast Liquid Make-up/Foundation. I got this on a whim, and I am so glad I did!
Dancing Ducks Organics Rhassoul and Goatsmilk Soap
I got a sample of the Dancing Ducks Organics (aka DDO on most message boards) Rhassoul and Goatsmilk Soap from a friend. I love how this soap reduced the amount of oiliness on my skin.
Garnier Fructis Fortifying Shampoo
I tried this after hearing it was as good as the Redken Clear Moisture-and I have to say-it's better. I will be repurchasing this. I got the dry or damaged hair formula, and it does a great job.
Loreal Visibly Clean Foaming Gel Cleanser
I love this stuff. It's nothing fancy but it's kept my skin breakout free, and even helped clear up the damage done when I strayed and used the St. Ives Apricot Radiance.
Loreal Voluminous Mascara
Ok - I have to admit it - I haven’t used Loreal Voluminious Mascara in several years, but when I did it was my favorite mascara!
Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse
I am not impressed with the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse. Although everyone around me raves at how wonderful it is, I find that it went on thick, and cakey, and it just feels strange on my skin. I can't put my finger on it, I just don't like it. I think it makes my skin feel oiler than usual.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Foundation
I was curious about this foundation because even though I don't have any visible signs of aging on my face, I'm getting to the point where I need to start thinking about preventing those pesky signs of aging. I have been using Bare Minerals foundation in Medium 3, for the past 2 1/2 years.

I got the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in softsilver rose. This is a hot pink, creme color. For some reason I thought it would go on sheerer than it did. It was a pretty dark hot pink.

I have no idea what did it, but something in this broke me out-my face hasn't looked so bad in years. I was really disappointed because I love all of the other St. Ives products I've tried.

Freeman's Totally Juicy Apple Hot Sugar Body Scrub is a great body scrub. It smells like fresh green apples! You are supposed to use the body scrub before you get wet...but after I tried it the first time, and didn't notice a warming sensation, I started using it in the shower like I use the rest of my body scrubs.
